AEROPLANE CRASHES
WHILE ON TRAINING FLIGHT. AIRMAN SUCCUMBS TO INJURIES. (By Teleerwh —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Three members of the Royal New Zealand Air Force were injured (one fatally) in an aircraft accident yesterday morning, and were admitted to the Kaitaia Public Hospital. They were: — A.C.I David Joseph Sutton, died from injuries. Next-of-kin: Mrs L. Rule, c/o New Lynn Post Office (mother). Sergeant John Mortimore Worden, severely injured. Next-of-kin: Mrs J. M. Worden, Ponsonby, Auckland (wife). A.C.2 Kenneth Ivan Curtis, slightly injured. Next-of-kin: Mrs M. B. Curtis, Napier (wife). The aircraft was engaged in training exercises when it crashed.
