EKETAHUNA

RED CROSS SOCIETY ENJOYABLE CARD PARTY. (“Times-Age” Special.) A very enjoyable time was spent in the Anglican Sunday Schoolroom on Saturday evening, when the Red Cross Society held a flag bridge party. There was a large attendance. The room was very prettily decorated with large bowls of blue hydrangeas, pink sweet peas and copper coloured 1 foliage. Mr L. C. Christie conducted the games. Mr M. Priest (president) presented the prizes to the following winners:— Ladies: Mesdames Gallagher and Scott. Men: Messrs Christie and Olsen. Supper was served and greatly appreciated. Personal. Mrs A. L. Curry, wife of Captain A. L. Curry, who is now broadcasting has been the guest of her sister-in-law, Mrs Norman Williams, Bridge Street.
