LOYAL DEVOTION

MESSAGE TO THE KING. FROM PRISONERS OF WAR IN GERMANY. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.35 a.m.) RUGBY, February 8. The King has received a Christmas card from all prisoners of war ranks at Stalag 88. The card, which is endorsed: “Loyal devotion ftom all ranks,” is signed by Regimental Ser-geant-Major Sidney Sheriff, camp leader, and was sent through the International Red Cross at Geneva to the War Office for transmission to the King. His Majesty sent an acknowledgment through the. same channels, expressing warm thanks and wishing all the senders the best of luck'in 1942.
