CHURCH SERVICES

The meetings in the Salvation Army Citadel on Sunday will be conducted by Major and Mrs Ransom. After the song service in the evening supper will be supplied to all servicemen. The services tomorrow of the Associated Churches (Baptist —Church of Christ) will be held in the Odd Fellows’ Hall, Queen Street. At the close of the evening service, communion will be celebrated. Servicemen are cordially invited to attend. The services at the Masterton Presbyterian Church tomorrow will be conducted by Mr Douglas Storkey. The subject in the morning will be “The Things Which Cannot Be Shaken,” and in the evening, “A Ladder of Christian Experience.” Bible classes and Sunday schools will resume in the morning. Supper will be served for soldiers attending the evening service. Services will be conducted tomorrow by the Rev. D. McNeur at the Lansdowne Presbyterian Church, at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., at Mauriceville at 1:30 p.m., and at Eketahuna at 3 p.m. The Holy Communion will be celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church and at Kuripuni at 8 a.m. tomorrow. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher at all services at St. Matthew's Church. The Rev. J. C. Edwards will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni. and the Rev. H. Taepa that at Upper Plain. At the Methodist Church tomorrow the morning service will be conducted by Mr C. R. Goudge, and that in the evening by the Rev. J. A. Daglish. The afternoon service at Rangitumau will be conducted by Mr J. D. Blundell. Mr Eric Steer will be the preacher in the evening at Kuripuni.
