LARGE ENEMY RAIDING PLANE ATTACK ON CONVOY FAILS. GUNS OF CORVETTE FIND THEIR MARK. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.30 a.m.) RUGBY, February 6. The Admiralty states that a German Focke-Wulf long-range bomber has been shot down at sea by the corvette Genista, which was escorting a convoy at the time. No r casualties or damage were suffered by the ships of the convoy or their escorts.
