COSY THEATRE

“CASTLE ON THE HUDSON.”

Tonight there will be an excellent double feature programme headed by “Castle on the Hudson’ and “Phantom Submarine.” The former is a splendid drama telling a most delightful story with John Garfield, Ann Sheridan, Pat O’Brien and Burgess Meredith in the leading roles. “Phantom Submarine” is a thrilling story concerning a hair-raising search for sunken treasure and a fantastic plot to smash America’s vital defences by means of a secret submarine base, with Anita Louise and Bruce Bennett giving outstanding presentations in the chief characters. Tomorrow’s matinee will commence at 2.15 p.m.
