EXPLOSIONS & FIRES

IN OSLO RAILWAY STATION FOLLOWING ON QUISLING INSTALLATION. NAZI TROOPS RUSHED TO CAPITAL. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, February 3. German troops have been rushed to Oslo, where they are patrolling the streets following explosions and fires in the East and West Stations, says the “Daily Telegraph’s” Stockholm correspondent. The explosions occurred when special trains filled with Quisling supporters were about to leave after Major Quisling’s installation as Prime Minister. The areas near the stations were immediately cordoned; everybody inside the cordon was questioned, and 25 were arrested. The extent of the damage is not known, but it is believed to be serious. Many civilians were injured during further disturbances.
