GREYTOWN
BOWLING CLUB HARD FOUGHT PAIRS GAME. (“Times-Age” Special.) The pairs game between J. Reid and G. Burns and J. Burden and J. Kiernan was played last evening, and after a hard fought game, which concluded in the dark. Reid and Burns won by a narrow margin. Swimming. It has been decided that soldiers may have the use of the local baths from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Extra shower facilities have been installed. Arrangements are being made to hold a carnival at the baths. E.P.S. Enrolments. The Borough Council Office will be open on Wednesday evening for the enrolment in the E.P.S. Personal. Mr and Mrs G. Hood have received advice that their son, Sergeant G. Hood, is fit and well. TOWN HALL TONIGHT’S PROGRAMME. “This Thing Called Love,” the comedy sensation of the season, starring Melvyn Douglas, Rosalind Russell and Binnie Barnes, will be screened i tonight. (Recommended by the Censor for adults).
