One Coupon Monthly Suggested.
After a discussion the Otago branch of the New Zealand Retail Motor Trade Association issued a statement at Dunedin yesterday expressing the opinion that one coupon monthly should be issued to all private motorists to enable them to keep their cars in running order. The actual amount required would be 600,000 gallons of petrol, which would be only a fraction of the cost involved in any scheme for the institution of a battery service, while simultaneously the mechanical parts of cars would be kept in running order,
