LAW AND ORDER
E.P.S. SECTION PARADES. A parade of the Law and Order Section of the E.P.S., under the Controller, Senior-Sergeant G. A. Doggett, was held last night in the St. John Ambulance Room, Dixon Street, when a good muster of 30 members, including 10 members of the Emergency Traffic Police, under Inspector W. G. Milne, of the Transport Department, were present. The men were instructed in elementary drill by the secretary, Mi’ J. L. L. Wood, and were taken for a short route march. Detailed instructions in point duty and the traffic regulations were given by the Highway Inspector, Mr Milne, and the Borough Traffic Inspector, Mr J. McGregor. A keen interest was taken by the members ,as was indicated by the general discussion which followed and the questions which were asked. It was decided to hold weekly parades every Thursday promptly at 7 p.m., at the above meeting place, commencing on Thursday, February 5, and all members are earnestly requested to attend. Arm bands must be worn on parade.
