CHURCH SERVICES

The services at the Masterton Presbyterian Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rt. Rev. John Davie. Supper will be provided by the Ladies’ Social Guild for soldiers who attend the evening service. The meetings on Sunday at the Salvation Army Citadel will be conducted by Major Mabel Marshall, the Divisional Young People’s Secretary, of Wellington. Supper will be provided for all servicemen at the close of the Sunday evening service. The Holy Communion will be celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow, at 8 a.m., Matins at 'll a.m., and Evensong at 7 p.m. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher. After church supper for soldiers will be served in the Parish Hall. The evening service at Kuripuni will be conducted by Mr J. F. Jaine. The services of the Associated Churches (Baptist—Church of Christ) willJjß be held in the Odd Fellows’ Hall,® Queen Street, tomorrow. In the morning, Mr J. T. Edmonds, of Lower Hutt, will conduct the service. In the evening. Rev. H. E. Edridge, of Hastings, will be the speaker, and the service will be followed by Communion. At the Methodist Church tomorrow the morning service will be conducted by Mr C. R. Goudge. Rev. H. J. Tozer, M.A., will preach at the evening service.’ Arrangements have been made to entertain soldiers. Mr F. G. Rutter will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni.
