The residents of South Featherston district carried out the “black out” to the letter last night—not from choice, though. All lights were burning brightly until about 8.30 p.m., when everyone was thrust into complete darkness. A hurried search was made for the good old stand-by, and candles answered the purpose until the lights came on about an hour later.
