OF HOUSE OF COMMONS SPEECHES MR CHURCHILL ABANDONS PROPOSAL. ON ACCOUNT OF DIVERGENT OPINIONS. LONDON, January 21. In the House of Commons Mr Churchill stated that, on account of indicated differences of opinion, he had abandoned the proposal that his speeches should be electrically recorded and later broadcast. ' ' 1 i The Prime Minister said that the proposal to avoid a repetition of the speeches had been made less on account of fatigue than because of certain inartistic qualities that inevitably arose in a rehash.
