SUFFERED BY THE GERMANS IN RUSSIA Soviet Spokesman Gives Some Details ENEMY FLIGHT IN DISORDER WEST OF MOJAISK BITTER FIGHTING IN OTHER AREAS ■ LONDON, January 21. During the last 40 days, a Soviet official spokesman states, the Germans in Russia have lost 300,000 men killed, 1,100 planes and nearly 3,000 tanks. The “Pravda” reports that the Germans are fleeing in disorder west of Mojaisk and, on meeting Russian troops in their rear, are throwing down their arms and surrendering. Berlin has said nothing about the loss of Mojaisk, but admits continued Soviet attacks in the Moscow and Leningrad areas and bitter fighting in the Donetz Basin.
