AIRCRAFT OVERDUE
ON TRAINING FLIGHT TWO AIRMEN MISSING, AN INTENSIVE SEARCH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Two members of the Royal New Zealand Air Force were reported missing yesterday when an aircraft of the R.N.Z.A.F. was reported overdue during a training flight. The missing airmen are: — Leading Aircraftman Donald Hugh McKenzie. Next-of-kin. father, Mr J. R. McKenzie, 483 Yaldhurst Road, Christchurch. Leading Aircraftman Jack Trevor Villers. Next-of-kin, father, Mr W. J. Villers, c/o Newton King, Ltd., Stratford. An intensive search is being maintained. NO TRACE FOUND. OF ANOTHER CREW. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Despite intensive search, no trace has been found of the aircraft of the Royal New Zealand Air Force reported missing on a training flight on January 14. The occupants of the machine were: — Leading Aircraftman Ronald Alfred Walter Abrahams. Next-of-kin, father, Flight Sergeant W. A. Abrahams, R.N.Z.A.F. Leading Aircraftman James Edgar Norman Corin. Next-of-kin, wife, Mrs H. W. Corin, 2 Nolan Road, Greenlane, Auckland.
