An Admiralty communique issued tonight states that a twinengined Dornier flying-boat, which unsuccessfully attacked one of our convoys in the North Sea, was shot down in flames by a British destroyer commanded by Lieutenant-Com-mander J. S. Eden, R.N. There were no casualties or damage on the convoy vessels or their escorts.
