OBITUARY

THE DUKE OF CONNAUGHT DEATH IN NINETY-SECOND YEAR. SON OF QUEEN VICTORIA. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.35 a.m.) RUGBY, January 16. It was learned with regret in London that the Duke of Connaught died today. The Duke, who was in his 92nd year, lived a retired life at Bagshot Park since the outbreak of the war, although he carried/out official inspection of a Canadian regiment at Aidershot last year. The Duke of Connaught was a son of Queen Victoria and a great-uncle of the present King.
