PATRIOTIC SOCIETY A BUSY DAY FOR MEMBERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Featherston members of the Patriotic Society had a busy time yes. terday afternoon, when, under the supervision of Miss Card, a number o: parcels were packed ready for dispatch to the headquarters in Wellington. Personal Items. Mrs F. Therkleson, New Plymouth is visiting her sister. Mrs C. J. Carlyon Mrs R. S. Skippage has entered Kelvin Hospital for treatment. Swimming Club Dance. The Swimming Club will hold another of their popular dances tonight when there should again be a large attendance. Nobles Bakery advertise that owing to further petrol restrictions bread will be delivered in the borough on Saturjdays only. COSY THEATRE TONIGHT'S PROGRAMME. M.G.M's. sparkling comedy. “Pride and Prejudice.” with charming Greer Garson and handsome Lawrence Olivier in the leading roles, will be shown tonight. (Recommended by the Censor for adults}.
