AMERICAN TRUCKS
NO MORE FOR CIVILIAN USE. WAR NEEDS PARAMOUNT. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON, January 9. The production of trucks for commercial and civilian use will be stopped on March 1. The Army and Navy and Lend-Lease requirements will absorb all trucks after, that date. The ban on the sale of new automobiles has been modified to permit of purchases by the Army and Navy and essential civilian users.
