The Munitions Minister Mr C. D. Howe, in a statement to the Press today, said Canada's war time production will be expanded in a similar manner to the United States, as outlined by President Roosevelt yesterday. Mr Howe explained that Lord Beaverbrook’s mission was “to raise our sights on what we can produce." Canadian Avar equipment was now being used on every battlefield. including the Philippines, Singapore, China and the Middle East. Canada’s war production was already expanding very rapidly.
