CHURCH SERVICES
The services at the Masterton Presbyterian Church and at Matahiwi tomorrow and at Solway on Thursday evening will bo conducted by the Rt. Rev. John Davie.
Special services in continuance of the Day of Prayer will, be observed by the Church of England tomorrow. The preacher at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew's Church, at 2.30 p.m. at Taucru, and 7 p.m. at Kuripuni will be Archdeacon Rich. The Rev. H. Taepa will conduct the evening service at St. Matthew's Church. The Rev. D. McNeur will tomorrow conduct services at Lansdowne (11 a.m. and 7 p.m.), Rangitumau (1.30 p.m.), and Kopuaranga (2.45 p.m.). The meetings in the Salvation Army Citadel on Sunday will be conducted by Major Ransom (morning) and Major V. Dick (evening). The latter will deliver a special address. At the Methodist Church tomorrow the morning service will be conducted by the Rev. H. S. Kings and will take the form of a Covenant service at which the Sacrament of the Lord's supper will be observed. Mi - F. G. Rutter will conduct the evening service. There will be an afternoon service at Wangaehu. At Kuripuni in the evening the preacher will be the Rev. H. S. Kings, and the Sacrament of the Lord’s supper will be celebrated. The usual services of the associated churches (Baptist-Church of Christ) will be held in the Y.M.C.A. on Sunday. The morning service will be conducted by Mr W. Tecboon and will be followed by communion. In the evening the preacher wil Ibe Mr E. E. Pennington, of Wellington. The Sunday School and Bible Class will not meet during January.
