AGAIN RAIDED

4 JAPANESE BOMB OCEAN ISLAND. NO CASUALTIES & DAMAGE SLIGHT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. An announcement that Ocean Island was bombed again on December 29 was made on Wednesday by the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser. There were no casualties and damage was very slight. Bombers were also reported over Nauru on the same day, but no bombs were dropped. Further Japanese air reconnaissances have been reported over the Gilbert Islands.
