GERMAN BATTLECRUISERS AT BREST i BRITISH BOMBERS ALSO ATTACK COLOGNE. CHANNEL PORTS RAIDED. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, December 24. An Air Ministry communique states that last night the naval base and German warships at Brest. were again attacked by the Bomber Command. Another force attacked objectives in Cologne and elsewhere in western Germany. A small force bombed the docks at Ostend, Dunkirk and Calais. One aircraft is missing from these operations and also one aircraft of the Coastal Command is missing from a patrol yesterday. Early last night a few enemy aircraft flew over coastal districts of England, Bombs which were dropped damaged some houses and caused a small number of casualties.
