MECHANICAL HARE RACING

MEETING ON JANUARY 3. The committee of the Wairarapa Coursing Club, in response to numerous requests has unanimously decided to hold a race meeting on Saturday, January 3. A full programme consisting of maiden hurdles, flat open hurdles, flat novice, limit flat, sapling stake and,, ladies’ plate was drawn up and the secretary was instructed to issue the schedules at once.

Messrs J. Bradbury, L. M. Archer and L. Hare were appointed delegates to represent the club at the annual conference of Coursing clubs to be held at Hastings next Saturday. Accounts amounting to £26 were passed.
