PRIVATE FREDERICK FLOOD.

Advice has been received by Mrs F. Flood, of 31 Cole Street, Masterton, that her husband, Private Frederick Flood had been killed in action on November 23. The late Private Flood, who was 31 vears of age, was formerly a wellknown resident of Greytown. He was a son of Mrs E. Flood and the late Mr Flood He had lived in Greytown practically all his life. Leaving New Zealand as a member of the Third Echelon, he went right through the campaign in Greece and Crete. Besides his mother, he is survived by a widow and three children.
