ITALIAN GENERAL
LOST IN SUBMARINE.
CHIEF EXECUTIVE ENGINEER. (Received This Day, 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, December 17. It is understood that General Lami, who was lost when an Italian submarine was sunk in the Mediterranean (as reported in an earlier message) was attempting to reach Rome. He was the chief executive engineer at the Italian army headquarters.
