FIJI MINES
DIVIDEND DECLARATIONS
POSTPONED.
(By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, December 16. The directors of the Emperor and Loloma Mines decided to postpone dividend declarations. Owing to being faced with greatly increased Fiji taxation and possible further support to Fiji war loans and provision of funds for. additional treatment plant, the board considered it prudent to husband its finances for the present. Mr Theodore said the proved ore reserves were greater than ever, but shipping difficulties prevented duplication of duplex roasters.
