A new job already has been found for the ratings from the warships Repulse and Prince of Wales, some of whom are now operating' the ferry between Penang Island and the mainland. During Japanese raids on Penang planes not only bombed the island but machine-gunned the waterfront and then turned their attention to the ferries, when a number of passengers and members of the crews were injured.
