MEMORIAL PEWS

TO BE DEDICATED AT ST. MATTHEW’S CHURCH. LIVES GIVEN IN PRESENT WAR. Two life-long friends, active and keen members of St. Matthew’s Church, who have given their lives in the present, war, are to be commemorated iby memorial pews in St. Matthew’s Church. Ted Denbee served with the R.N.Z.A.F., and Ivan McWhinnie with the N.Z.E.F. in Crete. The pews are to be dedicated at a special service on Sunday evening by the Right Reverend H. St. Barbe Holland, Bishop of Wellington.
