4 SALLY LUNN SOLD TO BE TRAINED IN MASTERTON; (By Telegraph—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, December 9. The three-year-old filly Sally Lunn has been sold to Mrs D. Levin, oMier of Gladynev, for £7OO and has been sent to B. Burgess, Masterton, to be trained for her new owner. Sally Lunn made a big impression when she won a division of the novice race at the Southland Racing Club’s spring meeting last month and is regarded as one of the most promising young horses seen in Southland ifor a long time. She was got by Salmagundi from Paigle, dam of Peony Rose, and was bled by the late Dr. W. Robertson. Sally Lunn was having only her second start when she won at Invercargill and she spreadeagled her field.
