Labour Party Dance.
The annual dance promoted by the Greytown branch of the Labour Party to raise funds towards Christmas cheer for the Buchanan Home inmates was held on Friday night and was most successful. In spite of a major attraction at Carterton, there was a large number of dancers, and the net result of a little over £lO is a good indication of support received. During the evening a competition for a cake donated by Duff's Bakery was drawn by Matron Higginson, the winner being Mrs G. H. Hood. The committee are to be commended for the excellent supper provided. Messrs T. Tau and Daysh supplied the music.
