GIRL GUIDES

DEMONSTRATIONS IN MASTERTON The Girl Guides gave demonstrations at a garden party held at the residence of Mr and Mrs M. J. McGregor, Essex Street, Masterton, on Saturday afternoon. Among those present were Mesdames Riddiford (Division Commissioner), Carne Bidwill (Carterton Commissioner), Holmes (Provincial Commissioner), and A. W. McKenzie (Masterton Commissioner). The Tararua troop gave a demonstration on guide laws and other inteiest ing exhibitions concerning Girl Guide activities were provided by other troops. Several stalls did splendid business. Mrs Holgate was commended for her training of the Girl Guides.
