Miss M. Boyd. Pahiatua, is the guest of Mrs W. Cornelius. Wellington. Sister Ruth Graham, of the Greytown Hospital staff, is the guest of Mrs J. Barton, Hastings.
Miss Eveline Marion Harcourt, of Wellington, has died at Liebenau, Wurtemburg, Germany, according to advice received by Mr C. J. S. Harcourt, Wellington, from the office of the Hig'h Commissioner for New Zealand in London. Miss Harcourt, together with Miss Acland, Canterbury, was among the prisoners taken from the Port Hobart when that vessel was sunk by enemy action off Porto Rico on November 24 last year. Miss Harcourt was the elder daughter of the late John Bateman Harcourt, and was born at Wellington on April 9, 1878.
