OBITUARY

MR A, W. SAKER. The death occurred suddenly at Wellington yesterday of Mr Arthur William Saker, son of the late Mr and Mrs G. Saker, of Masterton, who had resided for about 20 years in Wellington where he was manager of the boot department of Messrs Bing, Harris & Co. He was 43 years of age and was held in high esteem for his many personal qualities. He leaves a wife and four children. Mesdames W. Kemp, L. Sutton, R. Judd and R. Woodley, of Masterton, are sisters of the late Mr Saker, and to them will be extended the sympathy of a large number of friends. The funeral will take place tomorrow morning.
