ONE MINUTE SITTING

NO. 2 TRANSPORT LICENSING AUTHORITY. TAXI SERVICE LICENCE TRANSFERRED. A sitting lasting one minute was held, by the No. 2 Transport Licencing Authority (Mr P. Skoglund) in Masterton this afternoon. Only one case was set down for hearing and as there were no objections it was a mere formality. The application was for the transfer of a taxi service licence from R. W. Clarke to S. H. Johnston, Masterton. The transfer was approved. Needless -to say, this is the shortest sitting yet held by the authority.
