Mrs C. H. Tucker, of Auckland, is the guest of Mrs C. M. D. Burt, Pahiatua.
The death occurred oif Saturday at Hastings of Mrs Amelia Bournman Lee who was born in England in 1842 and who arrived in New Zealand in 1843. The death has occurred at Tokorangi (near Halcombe) of Repeka te NohL noki Ihaka, reputedly 109 years old. She was born at Atiamuri (28 miles from Rotorua) and had vivid recollections of events connected with Rewi Maniapoto and Te Kooti. She was a member of the Te Arawa haka group that visited England many years ago.
