SUPREME COMMAND

A Rome spokesman announced that an Italian, General Hector Dastico, is in supreme command of all the Axis forces in Libya, including General Rommel’s force. ITALIAN DIVISION PRACTICA.LLY ELIMINATED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This. Day, 11.40 a.m.) RUGBY, November 28. The Italian Bologna Division, holding positions east of Tobruk, has been practically 'eliminated, according to an agency message, which adds that heavy fighting continues in the Sidi Rezegh area and that an engagement is expected with an enemy armoured column, mostly Italian, seen moving westward thirty miles south of Tobruk.
