SHEEP IN KEEN DEMAND. Small entries of sheep, dairy cattle and pigs were offered to a medium attendance of the public at the weekly sale at Pahiatua. Ewes and lambs were in keen demand and realisations in this section exceeded vendors’ expectations. Wethers and fat sheep sold well at.late rates. Pigs: Weaners (good), 20s to 15s; stores, 245; porkers, 365.
