RESIGNATION TENDERED
PRESIDENT OF MINERS' FEDERATION.
SEQUEL TO SECRET FUNDS INQUIRY. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.10 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Mr Charles Nelson has resigned from the position of General President of the Miners’ Federation. The Central Council of the federation will decide next week whether his resignation shall be accepted or whether Mr Nelson shall be asked to remain in office. His action is a sequel to the finding of the Royal Commissioner in the Secret Funds inquiry.
