ACTION TAKEN AGAINST KOVACS. BY U.S.A. AMATEUR RULES COMMITTEE. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.10 p.m.) NEW YORK, November 26. The United States Lawn Tennis Association has* suspended Frank Kovacs. Thi§ action was taken by the Amateur Rules Committee, but the charges are now made public. Kovacs, interviewed, said: “Did I take money? My answer is: ‘Who hasn’t?’ Amateur tennis stinks. There is no money in it any more.” The Associated Press of America reports that Kovacs and Riggs are likely to turn professionals.
