BOWLING

PARK CLUB. PROMISING NEW PLAYERS. It is very pleasing to see the new members of the Park Bowling Club taking an active interest in the game, and already several very promising players have been seen in action. The club’s visitors’ book, which was instituted last Boxing Day, already contains the names of 122 visiting bowlers from Invercargill to Auckland, and their appreciative remarks are most gratifying' The club has extended its sympathy to four of its older members, Messrs F. Davey, R. Kilmister, J-. Coe and H. Ewington, who have been laid aside with sickness, and trust they will soon be able to again join in the games.
