DEATH OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED GOERING’S RIGHT-HAND MAN. IN LEADERSHIP OF AIR FORCE. LONDON, November 18. Berlin officially announces the death of General Udets, Marshal Goering’s right-hand 'man in the leadership of the Luftwaffe, who has died as a result of an accident. FLYING ACCIDENTS HITLER ORDERS STATE FUNERAL. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.20 a.m.) VICHY, November 18. The German News Agency saysGeneral Udets was killed on November 17 in a flying accident. It is recalled that in an interview on July 31, General Udets denied reports of his having committed suicide. The Berlin News Agency announced that General Udets was fatally injured when testing a new weapon. Hitler has ordered a State funeral.
