BOWLING

- MASTERTON CLUB. CHAMPIONSHIP COMPETITIONS. (Notes by “The Bowler.”) The draw,for the various competitions of the Masterton Bowling Club are posted up pi the pavilion. The first and second rounds of the champion singles and champion pairs must be completed by Saturday, November 29, and the first and second rounds of the handicap singles by Saturday, December G. On Saturday afternoon last the green was fully occupied by those players taking part in the Club I was pleased to see such a large number of new members taking part in the games. Club members extended a hearty welcome to their fellow bowler, Mr J. Skeet. who has been indisposed for some time past.
