ENEMY ARTILLERY
MORE ACTIVE AT TOBRUK. BRITISH PATROLS RANGE UNOPPOSED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.1 a.m.) RUGBY, November 12. A Cairo communique states: “At Tobruk yesterday air activity was about normal, whereas hostile artillery was more active against the eastern and southern sectors. On Monday night although our patrols, operating on a wide front, covered areas in which enemy patrols have recently been active, no contact was made with the enemy. “There is nothing to report from the frontier area.”
