CHINESE APPEAL
TO THE UNITED STATES & BRITAIN FOR HELP IN DEFENDING BURMA ROAD. IN EVENT OF JAPANESE MOVE. (Received This Day, 9.15 a.m.) WASHINGTON, November 12. A United Press correspondent states that reliable sources have revealed that General Chiang Kaishek has appealed to the United States and Britain for military aid in the event of a Japanese move against the Burma highway.
