WAIRARAPA TOURNAMENT IDEAL WEATHER EXPERIENCED. RESULTS OF YESTERDAY’S PLAY. Play was continued in the Wairarapa Croquet Association’s tournament at the Park lawns, Masterton, yesterday afternoon. The weather was ideal. The following are the results: Eva Card Challenge Cup: Mrs Kyngdon beat Mrs B. Thompson, 26-25; Mr Baker (Wellington) beat Mrs McKeown, 26-24; Mrs Weller beat Mrs J. McGregor, 26-9. Club Pairs: Mesdames Polson and Donnelly beat Mesdames I. I. McGregor and Weller, 26-12; Mesdames Saunders and Hyland beat Mesdames Doggett and Scrivener, 26-19. Open Championship Angles: Rev. Tye beat Mr Baker, 26-19; Mrs Polson beat Mrs Saunders, 26-12. Handicap Doubles: Mr Harrison and Mrs Kyngdon beat Mesdames Saunders and Hyland, 26-14. Handicap Singles: Mrs Donnelly beat Mrs Doggett. 26-19; Mrs McArley beat Mrs Trass, 26-23.
