SEA 'SUPREMACY VITAL.
MR A. DUFF COOPER’S VIEW.
(By Telegraph —Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 1 p.m.) MELBOURNE, November 9. The British Minister, Mr A. Duff Cooper, said he considered the naval defences in the Pacific more important than military defence. _He said: So long as sea supremacy is retained no big army can beat the Empire. The U-boats are by far the greatest danger the Empire has to face.” . When he leaves Australia Mr Dun Cooper will go to New Zealand and then to Singapore, “to await developments.”
