CHURCH SERVICES
The services of the Associated Churches (Baptist—Church of Christ) will be held at the Y.M.C.A. as usual on Sunday. In the morning, Major Dick, of the Salvation Army, will conduct the service, and in the evening Student Pastor A. R. Jamieson, of the Baptist College, Auckland, will preach. Communion will be held.
The Holy Communion will be celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow at 8 a.m., and at Kuripuni at 9 a.m. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher both in the morning and evening at St. Matthew’s Church. Mr J. F. Jaine will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni, and the Rev. H. Taepa that at Upper Plain. The services at the Masterton Presbyterian Church and at Kaituna tomorrow will be conducted by Mr Douglas Storkey. The subject of the morning sermon will be “Silent Christians,” and in the evening, “Death and the After Life.”
The services at the Methodist Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. H. S. Kings. The subject in the morning will be “The Faithfulness of God,” and in the evening, “Life’s Greatest Power.” There will be an afternoon service at Rangitumau. The Rev. G. Knowles-Smith will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni. The Rev. D. McNeur will conduct the services at the Lansdowne Church tomorrow morning and evening, at Mauriceville West at 1.30 p.m., and at Eketahuna at 3 p.m. The services at the Salvation Army Citadel tomorrow will be conducted by Major and Mrs Ransom.
