HOME GUARD
MASTERTON BATTALION. ' ROUTINE ORDER. The following routine order _ has been issued by Major A. L. Hibbs, commanding officer of the Masterton Battalion of the Home Guard: — The N.C.O.’s class will be held on Tuesday at the Municipal Hall. Headquarters and A and C companies will parade at their respective Drill Halls on Thursday. Other units will parade under unit arrangements. G Company in future will be B Company. The Gladstone Company at present known as G Company will in future be known as B Company. Transfers, promotions and appointments: D Company, Sgt. G. Ramsden to Platoon Commander at Rangitumau; Sgt. C. J. McDonald is to C.S.M., D Company; Cpl (Acting C.S.M.) D. Couper, D Company, to be transferred to C Company. Headquarters Company, Guardsman Savill-Smith is to be Cpl. Stretcher Bearer.
