EKETAHUNA
THE DAIRY INDUSTRY GOOD SEASON EXPERIENCED. (“Times-Age” Special.) A good season is being experienced in connection with the dairying industry. In most cases dairy farmers are obtaining larger yields of milk than usual, and particularly so is this the case with those farmers who have had their cows tested. No effort is being spared to assist the Government in its more food production scheme, and the district should establish a record in this connection, reflecting the greatest credit upon all concerned. The dairy industry is gradually expanding, and' each season an increase in the number of cows in dairy herds is in evidence. The quality of the milk forwarded to the factories in the district is of a high standard and is steadily improving, thanks to the care and cleanliness exercised by the farmers concerned.
